Preview A Clip From The New Comedy, “Bob’s Burgers”

There’s a new animated comedy series that’s going to hit the TV screens this January. It’s called Bob’s Burgers and stars a few heavy hitters in the comedy world, Eugene Mirman, Kristen Schaal, and H. Jon Benjamin. All of which portray a family that runs a burger shop.

While Mirman seems pretty new to lending his voice to animated characters, it’s not the first time for Schaal and Benjamin. Their voiceover credits alone are impressive, including Archer (Benjamin), Family Guy (Benjamin), Toy Story 3 (Schaal), Shrek (Schaal), Aqua Teen Hunger Force (both), and Dr. Katz (Benjamin). Craig Ferguson Lets His French Copycat Onto His Show

This is how all comedians should handle copycat situations…

Leslie Neilson: 1926-2010; Surely This Can’t Be Serious

Last night comedy acting legend Leslie Nielsen passed away in a Florida hospital due to complications from pneumonia. The 84 year old actor was surrounded by his family and friends.

If you’re a comedy fan (which I assume you are since you’re reading this), you don’t need to be reminded of Nielsen’s amazing list of work, which inspired a generation of comedians and actors, while simultaneously making millions of people pee themselves with laughter…but I am going to.

A star of movies and television, a career spanning 60 years, always working consistently and as recently as projects in 2010. He got his start as a serious actor, spending the first half of his career appearing in dramas like Forbidden Planet and The Poseidon Adventure, but it wasn’t until Read More
