  • So This New Pornographers Video Has A Lot Of Funny People In It

    It does…

Not really sure what else there is to say in these situations other than, ya know there’s a lot of funny people hanging out with AC, Neko and the rest of The New Pornographers in their video for “Move”. I think the best might be John Oliver protesting Canada. ‘Cause we all know, those are some sneaky-ass Canucks.

See how many you can spot. Oh and Horatio…gotta lay off the booger sugar there buddy.

Billy And Adam Are Doing Things In The Bubble

The names Billy and Adam might bring to mind songs from their hip-hop comedy duo Snakes or skits from their sketch comedy group Harvard Sailing Team, but the two man group has a new project with web giant MSN that might make the seasoned comedy duo the next “overnight sensation”.

The duo’s new project is a web series called Things and will be exclusive to MSN’s web channel The Bubble. Their premiere video is called “Vegetables with Arms and Legs” which is about exactly what it sounds like, little wooden figurines of vegetables with arms and legs. Read More

Craig Ferguson: Does This Need To Be Said?

Well lookey here, lookey here. The general of the robot skeleton army Craig Ferguson will dump a new stand-up special on us in a few weeks. This is fantastic news for us and part of a long list of accomplishments the comedian has knocked off his bucket list lately.

Over the last few years the Scottish comedian, in addition to delivering some of the best cold openings in late night television, released a book American On Purpose about his process to become a U.S. citizen, followed by the release of a stand-up special by the same name. He got the noble honor of hosting Shark Week, launched a hilarious rivalry with a Frenchman, and…oh! He just had a new baby. Read More

This Week In Comedy: Commercial Laughs

It’s the Monday after the Super Bowl so the question gets asked…what were your favorite commercials from the big game? Odds are they can be put into some pretty basic categories…

Inspiring/Nostalgic: Tributes to country, dads, moms, places, things, the NFL, traditions, childhood themes, etc.

Animals: Acting like humans, outsmarting man, animated, real life, it doesn’t matter as long as they are cute.

Trailers: For that new blockbuster movie, tv show, or video game. Read More

Watch The Trailer For Bruce Bruce’s New Stand-Up DVD “Losin’ It”

Tomorrow, Bruce Bruce will release his new stand-up DVD called Losin’ It. The ATLian (Outkast taught me that) filmed his special in Boston at the Wilbur Theatre. The DVD will feature bonus behind the scenes footage as well as an exclusive interview with Bruce Bruce.

Bruce Bruce is having a pretty monster career, earning accolades that include the highest ratings ever for BET’s 10th Annual Comic View for two seasons, when he was later asked to host the network’s show Coming to the Stage twice. He then went on have his own Comedy Central Presents before the release of his first one-hour comedy special Bruce Bruce Live. He’s starred on TV and film alongside Larry The Cable Guy, Ice Cube, and Academy Award winner Mo’Nique.

Bruce’s bigger than life personality has even transcended into the music video scene as well. He’s made guest appearances in videos with Ludacris and the Ying Yang Twins (after being named dropped in their song “Salt Shaker”). He’s even shown up in the monstrous hit “Come On Ride the Train (Ride It)” by Quad City DJs and has a cameo in the Outkast music video “So Fresh, So Clean.” But his comedy is job #1 as he’s torn it up at festivals such as Black Film Festival in Acapulco, the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Laffapalooza in Atlanta, GA, and the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen.
