Today is Drew Carey’s birthday. If you caught him on the PBS documentary about Johnny Carson this weekend, Carey got emotional while recalling the story of when Johnny called him to guest chair after his debut. So from 1991, here’s Drew Carey’s first appearance on The Tonight Show.
On Hannibal Buress’ new stand-up special Animal Furnace the comedian goes on a lengthy joke about a college gig he performed at Eastern Illinois University a few years back. To advance the show, Buress performed an interview with the school’s newspaper, The Daily Eastern News. Take a gander at the movie Hyde Park on Hudson, the forthcoming film starring Bill Murray as former president Franklin Roosevelt. The flick is not set to hit theaters until December and it tells the story about America’s first family interacting with the King and Queen of England as told from the story of FDR’s cousin (and possible mistress).
Murray takes some serious bouts every once in a while and this might be the movie that gives him the Academy Award rather than just the nomination.
Neal Brennan is one of the co-creaters of Chappelle Show, he also just had his half-hour comedy special premiere this weekend. So watch him bring the funny.
