  • Revisisting Reggie Watts’ music spots from Comedy Bang Bang

This Friday, the season finale of Comedy Bang Bang will air with the guests being Tenacious D. Host Scott Aukerman and his co-host/emcee/sketch partner Reggie Watts delivered some really great moments for the show over the course of the season.

As the season comes to a close, let’s take a look at the web series “Reggie Makes Music” that delivered us some much-talked about moments between Watts and celebs, starting with this week’s finale episode with Tenacious D. Read More

Let’s watch some preview clips from The Roast of Roseanne

The Roast of Roseanne taped this weekend in LA. The show doesn’t air until next Sunday but all anyone seems to be talking about is roastmaster general, Jeff Ross taking to the red brown carpet dressed as Penn State coach Joe Paterno with some young boys in tow. Ross made an appearance on The Howard Stern Show this morning to discuss the night, his new special Jeff Ross Roasts America and upcoming series, The Burn.

Some preview clips from the roast have hit the web, let’s watch them now shall we? Read More

Watching Joe DeRosa and Kurt Metzger complain about things is a hoot

You know what I like? Like really, really like? Some of my favorite salty comedians complaining about things, and that’s probably why I dig the idea of Official Comedy’s new series Overrated. Because in it, Kurt Metzger and Joe DeRosa complain about things they think are overrated. And anyone who is a fan of those guys knows they love to not like things. In the inaugural launch of Overrated the duo tackles rappers acting badly. I’ll tell you this, there’s nothing better than Joe D channeling The Critic when he declares “it stinks.”

That time Hannibal Buress took ecstasy and pee’d himself at a Saturday Night Live wrap party

Pitchfork recently packed up their gear and headed across the bridge to NYC’s Knitting Factory and ran a feature on Hannibal Buress and his weekly Sunday night comedy show he hosts/curates at the venue.

In the clip, Eric Andre shared stage time with Buress and the two got on the topic of Buress taking drugs and peeing on himself at the wrap party for a Saturday Night Live wrap party. They also point out how a comedy remix probably wouldn’t work as well as it does in hip-hop. Read More

Zach Galifianakis’ likeness appears in new My Morning Jacket video

My Morning Jacket just released an animated video for their song “Outta My System.” The band’s frontman Jim James bears a striking resemblance to comedian Zach Galifiankis. Because of their mutual love for beards, the band found a way to put an animated likeness of Galifianakis into the animated video. Galifiankis’ wizard character says no words and we don’t see him in person during the clip, so this is more of an endorsement of his character’s beard-galia more than anything else.
