  • Louis C.K.’s New E-Card Is Hilarious

Louis CK’s new album Hilarious is pretty much just that, absolutely one of the funniest things I’ve heard in a very long time. This is easily one of Louis’ best performances to date and already has buzz for Comedy Album of the Year. Comedy Central released an awesome e-card that has a sampling of two bits from the special. Share it with your friends and make sure to check out the premiere of Louis C.K.’s comedy central special which will air this weekend Sunday January 9th at 10 pm (EST) on Comedy Central.

Then, a few days later on Tuesday January 11th, Comedy Central will also release the special as both a DVD and CD. Both of which will have about 40 minutes of material that didn’t air on the televised special. Huzzuhhh. Read More

    Preview Bo Burnham’s New Album

In a few weeks time, Bo Burnham is going to drop his lyrical science on us with a new CD, DVD, and Comedy Central special called Words, Words, Words. We thought until then, we were going to have to wait to hear what Bo’s been up to since he’s grown up and is, ya know, no longer a teenager.

But rather than wait we got ourselves a Bo Burnham widget/soundboard. On it you can preview clips from the DVD and special, listen to some tracks, play with a Bo Burnham soundboard and pre-order the album. It pretty much has everything and makes us feel like inferior beings just by looking at it.

    Get on it.

    Preview Anthony Jeselnik’s “Shakespeare”

Earlier this year we had the chance to attend the taping of Anthony Jeselnik’s new comedy album, Shakespeare. It was recorded at the UCB Theater in New York. It was a night of classic Jeselnik’s balls-and-bravado comedy as he told a string of jokes with perfect timing, pausing perfectly too long to get the chuckle then set up the next joke.

Tomorrow marks the release of Shakespeare, which is a digital-only release through Comedy Central Records. And right now you can preview the album before you buy it. Ahh technology.

    <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,28,0" width="430" height="273"><param name="movie" value="http://www.thelaughbutton.com/media/anthony-jeselnik/shakespeare.swf"><param name="quality" value="high" />

Earlier today, Anthony tweeted a bonus MP3 from the night where he had to address the follies of an unruly heckler who ended up having one of the best jobs a comedian could ask for in this situation.

So all that’s left for you to do is to click on some links and buy the album. It’s pretty easy to do.

Preview Doug Benson’s New Album, Hypocritical Oaf

We’re only a few weeks out from the release of Doug Benson’s new CD / DVD Hypocritical Oaf. A release we’re pretty sure will be chock full of jokes about getting high and mocking people. All done with Benson’s trademark easygoing attitude, sarcastic wit, and subversive humor.

Well we have an exclusive treat for you.

Starting right now, you can preview some of Benson’s new album by playing with this widget below. Also, click on the clouds and you’ll get yourself some soundbytes from the record as well. Our favorite is currently Benson yelling “W. T. Fuck!?” about as loud as he can.

Is it safe for work? Probably not. Should you listen anyway? Totally! Live a little will ya? Read More
