    Patrice O'Neal benefitLast year Bill Burr put together a benefit show to honor the loss of his comedian friend Patrice O’Neal. A comedian who was larger than life and left the world too soon at the age of 41 on November 2011, the result of complications from a stroke he suffered from a month earlier.

    A few months later in February of 2013 Burr pulled together a truly magical evening of Patrice’s friends to perform at New York City Center to raise money for Patrice’s family. Burr just announced plans for a second annual event to happen on February 18, 2014 at the City Center again. The lineup of comedians includes many of the comics from last year – Burr, Dave Attell, Robert Kelly, Jim Norton, Rich Vos, Colin Quinn, and Keith Robinson. In addition, there are some other big time comedians joining that group this year including Nick DiPaolo, Bonnie McFarlane, Big Jay Oakerson, Harris Stanton, Talent, and Dane Cook.

    The will be on February 18th, tickets went on sale this morning and are $75 a head. So go and purchase them fast because they are not going to last long.
