    Apartment 23 – ABC
    Premieres this November

What used to be called Don’t Trust The Bitch In Apartment 23 is now just Apartment 23 (since cursing hurts our sensitive ears). The terrific Krysten Ritter (She’s Outta My League) plays the title “bitch” in the show as she tries her best to make her roommates leave their living situation so she can keep their security deposits. Yes, that’s a story now. The upside is we gt to see comedians Michael Blaiklock and Eric Andre get some screen time. Oh and James Van Der Beek…lotsa Dawson.

OUR CALL: The show premiering late in the season alludes ABC not having as much faith in it as it’s other new series. But many shows have launched mid-season to become successful. ABC managed to do it just this past season as Happy Endings grew after strong word of mouth for a solid ensemble cast and a solid season post-Modern Family timeslot.

Interesting question: How long can a show last, in which the only premise seems to be Tim Allen acting like an ignorant old dude?

Could last a long time. Perfect example is Homer Simpsons.
