New Girl – Fox
Premieres Tuesday September 20th at 9pm

FOX has finally locked up both the Deschanel sisters with the launch of New Girl which stars the pixie-like one Zooey (her sister is Bones) as the victim of a breakup that forces her to move in with 3 bachelors. One of which was Damon Wayans Jr., well at least in the pilot, he later was replaced because of his obligation to ABC’s sitcom Happy Endings.

OUR CALL: Given that Fox has had trouble launching successful live action sitcoms of late this one worries me. But with Zooey Deschanel being the subject of many young men’s desires, this has a shot to survive more than one season just from errant fanboyism and internet memes alone.
