Louis C.K. on The Daily Show, “Men and women are making classic gender mistakes”
Louis C.K. was the first guest on The Daily Show after their 2 week hiatus. It was a strong appearance by the comedian who accidentally ended up in the middle of the Daniel Tosh’s controversy because of a random tweet he sent while on vacation, unaware of what was going on. He also describes how he was classified as a “Rape Apologist” for “saying ‘hi’ to a guy.” Which in and of itself is a funny title to give anyone.
It’s kinda great this appearance comes along when it did. After a weekend where things didn’t get better in the argument over jokes space (if that’s a thing), a high profile comedian whose material’s been co-opted for both sides of the argument finally setting the record straight. Telling both comedians and bloggers they are being hyper sensitive. He elaborated to say “all dialogue is positive,” and the conversation has enlightened him to scenarios he never thought of before. Boiling things down to the essence that men and women are are both, “making classic gender mistakes.”
Watch the clip, for Louis is waaaay more eloquent about it than we would ever be.
