    The New Normal – NBC
Premieres Monday, September 10th then moves to Tuesdays at 9:30pm

This is perhaps the most talked about new sitcom of the season. Mainly because NBC affiliates in Utah have decided not to air this show even before it premiered. This was due to the plotline of the series revolved around a gay couple, Bryan and David – Justin Bartha (The Hangover) and Andrew Rannells (The Book Of Morman) and their attempt to start a family with the help of surrogate Goldie, who is trying to create a better life for her and her 8 year old daughter. The problem is, Goldie’s grandmother Jane is a a bigot, homophobic, racist female incarnate of Archie Bunker (Ellen Barkin).

Our Verdict: This could be the next Modern Family and NBC is starving for a show that’s not only good but a ratings hit. Who are we kidding, they’d probably settle for just ratings. With a show created by Glee’s Ryan Murphy there’s a good chance the gay themes in the show will be addressed with both decorum and hilarity like any other well-developed sitcom characters on TV. Eff off Utah.
