The Laugh Button guide to new Fall 2012 television comedies

Partners – CBS
Premieres Monday, September 24th at 8:30pm
Partners revolves around two friends since childhood (David Krumholtz and Michael Urie) who work together in an architecture firm as they balance their relationships, one gay, one straight. Sophia Bush and Superman himself Brendan Routh play the significant others. It’s based on the show’s creator Max Mutchnick (Will & Grace) and his real life relationship of the same dynamic.
Our Verdict: This is one of the only comedies CBS is launching this season, mainly because their lineup is so strong they didn’t have to cancel much last season. But it’s also a network that’s pretty vanilla when it comes to sitcoms. But putting this show on it’s well-to-do Monday night comedy lineup of How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, and Mike & Molly, it’s got solid shows to keep people tuned in all night long. It will probably do just fine.
