Ben And Kate – FOX

What happens when your manchild brother moves in with you to help you take care of your young daughter? You get Ben And Kate, and interesting dynamic between brother and sister, played by Nate Faxon (The Descendents, Beerfest) and Dakota Johnson. Ben is a free spirit but his younger sister Kate is too responsible. He helps her loosen up, she might help him be a bit more serious. The sitcom is based on show creator Dana Fox’s relationship with her brother, named Ben in real life.

Our Verdict: Faxon is very likeable and this could be a good compliment to Raising Hope which it will air after. It has the ability to be a fun look at a family comedy and we’re expecting a handful of funny uncle moments a la Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey.
