Animal Practice – NBC
Premieres Wednesday, September 26th at 8pm

They say to never work with animals and kids in showbiz but NBC is breaking all of those rules this fall with plenty of shows with kids and one sitcom featuring animals. Animal Practice revolves around an animal hospital doctor George Coleman (Weed’s Justin Kirk) who is better with the pets than he is with the people. Things get even worse when Coleman learns his ex-girlfriend inherits the animal hospital from her grandmother. Comedian Bobby Lee and Tyler Labine round out the cast that will probably be completely upstaged by Crystal The Monkey (The Hangover II).

Our Verdict: Justin Kirk is terrific in Weeds and we hope he can handle the starring role in Practice. Tyler Labine is great but he’s yet to star in a show that’s lasted long. So it’s time to hedge your bets on Crystal.
