This year, Portland, Oregon’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival is turning 10, and they’re celebrating with one of their best lineups yet, with over 100 performers and a very special pre-fest visit from Patton Oswalt.
Bridgetown’s 2017 lineup also includes Andy Kindler, Eugene Mirman, Janeane Garofalo, Karen Kilgariff, Guy Branum, Matt Braunger, Brooke Van Poppelen, Dave Hill, Debra Digiovanni, Ahmed Bharoocha, Chris Fairbanks, Annie Lederman, Shane Torres, Marcella Arguello, Kevin Avery, Myq Kaplan, Ron Lynch, Andres du Bouchet, Lashonda Lester, Maggie Maye, Billy Wayne Davis, Caitlin Gill, Janine Brito, Matt Kirshen, Amy Miller, Matt Knudsen, Drennon Davis, Caleb Synan, Josh Johnson, and many, many more.
The full schedule is still TBA, but it’ll include shows like Bryan Cook’s Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction, The Jackie and Laurie Show (with Jackie Kashian and Laurie Kilmartin), The New Negroes with Baron Vaughn, rap battle Turnt Up with Eliza Skinner, comedy drinking game show Brew Haha, podcast A Good Trip with Shane Mauss, among others.
Co-founded by comedians Matt Braunger and Andy Wood (and run by Charlene Conway, who’s also helped make fests like Denver’s High Plains and LA’s Riot great), Bridgetown has a reputation as one of the country’s most fun festivals, for fans and performers alike – and, with a lineup that always includes rising stars alongside huge ones, it’s also one of the best places to discover your new favorite performers.
The fest will run from May 4th – 7th, but things will really kick off on May 2nd, with a special headlining set from Patton Oswalt at the historic Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.
You can see the complete lineup on Bridgetown’s site.
