For the fifth year, the High Plains Comedy Festival is heading to Denver, and we’ve finally got some info to hold us over til the full lineup is announced.
The 2017 edition of High Plains will take place from August 24-26 at venues across Denver, in partnership with sponsor truTV. The network is home to Those Who Can’t, the brilliantly hilarious sitcom from Denver natives The Grawlix, the comedy team made up of Ben Roy, Andrew Orvedahl, and High Plains co-founder Adam Cayton-Holland.
Cayton-Holland founded the fest in part to shine a light on Denver’s growing, exciting local scene; standout local performers always have a place on the High Planes lineup, and the fest has brought lots of industry insiders to the Mile High City.
“With T.J., My Favorite Murder, and truTV all on board, we’re looking forward to a fantastic fifth year,” says Cayton-Holland. “We’re really proud that we’ve been able to grow the festival every year to offer even more national and local comedians for the audiences, while still keeping it intimate and authentic.”
Full fest VIP passes are on sale now; tickets for T.J. Miller and My Favorite Murder go on sale this Friday morning at highplainscomedyfestival.com.
