Jerrod Carmichael, an exceptionally hilarious stand-up comedian and the co-creator and star of NBC’s The Carmichael Show, has been very busy lately. His sitcom in production on its third season since 2015, so it’s no surprise that he’s taken a few years to release a follow-up to his debut stand-up special, 2014’s Love at the Store.
Good news, though – his latest, 8, will air March 11th on HBO.
8 was taped in December at New York’s Masonic Hall, and directed by none other than Bo Burnham.
Carmichael’s 2014 debut special, Love at the Store – which was directed by Spike Lee and shot live at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles – is streaming now on HBO Go.
