Guys, there is a LOT going on in the news – and with so many lies flying around, we don’t blame you for having no idea what’s really happening.
Luckily, Seth Meyers is here to help us understand hot topics like Trumpcare, and, um, exactly how your appliances can spy on you.
In his segment, “A Closer Look,” Meyers imagines what a typical day in life of Trump’s microwave might be like (complete with his impressively bad Obama impression) before tearing into Kellyanne Conway’s latest gaffe with an Inspector Gadget comparison.
Then, because clips show Trump can’t explain his own proposed plans, Meyers breaks it down by explaining how promises of reform are, in fact, steps backwards.
“So, it turns out that voters who thought they were getting a different kind of Republican, are in fact getting the same old failed GOP policies that Trump claimed to be against. And central to this GOP philosophy is the idea that healthcare is not a right, but a commodity, that you can only access if you can afford it.”
Good luck, America!
