There’s a reason that almost every photo hailing from the comedy community these days are taken by the one and only Mindy Tucker. She’s special. She gets it. She has the eye. And this past weekend in Littlefield, Brooklyn was no different.
A reported 200+ women gathered for the Women In Comedy 2016 Senior Class Photo. Quite the testament to Tucker, her work, and the importance of the event itself. Overwhelming if you really think about it. Simply undeniable. All genres of comedy were covered from stand-up, improv, sketch, etc. And if someone couldn’t make it in person, they sent photos in. Also aiding the coordination of the shoot were Marianne Ways, producer of the Seeso series Night Train, Jessica Delfino, founder of the NY Funny Songs Fest and the music school and creative space The Unicorn, and stand-ups comedian Katie Compa and Selena Coppock.
The video above helps tell the tale. Amazing and special stuff to say the very least. Do yourself a favor and check out all of Mindy Tucker’s amazing work here.
