The 2011 Comedy Awards Nominations Are Announced
A few weeks back, Viacom announced their plans to revive The Comedy Awards. The show will be taped in NYC on March 26th and make an on air run on April 10th simultaneously on Comedy Central, Spike TV, TV Land, VH1, and Nick At Nite.
Now the second stage is complete…nominees. Nominees were selected by the Board of Directors, which includes the likes of Stephen Colbert, Billy Crystal, James Dixon, Whoopi Goldberg, Seth MacFarlane, Adam McKay, Conan O’Brien, Don Rickles, Joan Rivers, Chris Rock, Ray Romano, Mitzi Shore, and Jon Stewart.
The awards will also feature BEST VIRAL ORIGINAL which will fall upon the public to vote. Starting now, fans can submit their favorite viral videos of the year the award’s website. Official nominees will be announced later this month then a final winner will be once again put up to a fan vote.
