  • Artie Lange will Crash and Burn on October 29th with new book

Artie Lange, Crash And BurnArtie Lange will once again be an author.

On October 29th the comedian and radio show host will release his second book, Crash and Burn. It will be the follow-up to Lange’s 2008 NY Times Best Seller, Too Fat To Fish which chronicled his life growing up, family, entrance into showbiz, and drug addition. At the time Lange was also featured on The Howard Stern Show until his highly publicized and drug-laden departure from the show in 2010 with an attempted suicide.

Crash And Burn is the telling of that part of Lange’s story, the behind-the-scenes look at his public implosions, his infamous appearance on the short-lived Joe Buck Live in 2009, and what really happened from his attempted suicide and institutionalization post Stern Show.

I am so thrilled to be publishing this book through Touchstone,” said Artie Lange. “It just feels right. Staying clean and sober for a long period of time will save my life. I feel that having a lot of money will help that, so please buy this book and save a life.”

“Like John Belushi and Chris Farley before him, Artie Lange was widely known for both his outrageous comedic acts and appetite for self-destruction,” said Stacy Creamer, Vice President and Publisher of Touchstone. “Fortunately, Artie Lange survived to tell his tale. Crash and Burn is the book his fans have long been waiting for, a memoir that is equal parts outrageous, heartbreaking, hilarious, and always uncensored Artie Lange.”

Lange, who has had a hard-fought path to sobriety is now back on top hosting The Artie Lange Show on DirectTV and touring comedy clubs across the nation.

You can pre-order the book right now, which funnily enough has an intro from Joe Buck.
