  • “The Comedy” could be so bad it’s good

The new Tim Heidecker film The Comedy isn’t getting great reviews. In fact it’s getting such negative responses from advance screenings that it’s come around full circle to become something of curiosity. People want to watch the trainwreck.

In theaters on November 16th (and VOD on October 24th), the flick stars Heidecker as goalless Brooklyn hipster about to inherit his father’s estate even though he’s spent his entire life goofing off with his two buddies. Whom are played by his partner in crime Eric Wareheim and LCD Soundsystem mastermind, James Murphy.

A new trailer for the flick has hit the web that’s capitalizing on the negative press tossed in its direction.

Here’s another clip from earlier this year that showcases more Heidecker/Wareheim dickery along with some of Murphy.
