First, if you’re on this site, then you probably have an interest in laughing. Secondly, if you’re reading this, then you probably read, and if you read, you should probably go read Mindy Kaling’s new book, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) so that you can laugh. Makes sense, right? As actress/writer on NBC’s The Office, I’m assuming Kaling’s book to be funny.

Reeder of popular book review blog, ReederReads.com, recently reviewed Kaling’s book saying, “this is one of the funniest books I’ve ever read.” Reeder also mentions her preference for Kaling’s new book over Tina Fey’s somewhat recent Bossy Pants. Apparently, Mindy addresses the expected Tina Fey comparison in the book’s introduction.

In promotion for Mindy’s new book, NBC is running a behind the scenes “extra bits” clip of The Office. So the question is: is everyone hanging out without Mindy? Dwight, Ryan, and Erin sure are. Though, probably not for long if Mindy’s book keeps up great reviews.
