The folks at CH Entertainment a comedy management team that’s the brains behind NYC comedy venue The Stand, which was just named “Best Comedy Club of 2013” by New Yorker are working on a new project and this one is for a near and dear friend of theirs, Mike DeStefano.
It’s been two years since DeStefano passed away, but his memory lives on with the CH folks not only had a business relationship with DeStefano they were friends who even decided to use DeStefano’s image as part of The Stand’s logo.
Today they announced pre-production of a documentary about DeStefano’s life. They’ve put out an open call to anyone in the comedy community that might be sitting on any DeStefano archives – video footage, photos, stories. If you do, drop an email [email protected].
2 years ago today we lost our brother Mike DeStefano. He is immortalized on our sign and logo and will be forever in our hearts. In conjunction with Harrington Talents and filmmaker Frank Mosca we are happy to announce that today is the official start of pre-production on the documentary of his amazing career, life and overall mission.
