Forbes just released their 2012 list of Highest Paid TV Actresses and Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara topped the list with included most of Desperate Housewives, the female leads from your typical CSI & OrderBones, and too many Kardashians – who by the way, talk like assholes.

Forbes estimates Vergara’s earnings just shy of $20 million which is awesome for her and thebvarious endorsement deals she’s in addition to yelling “Ay!” to her husband Jay in a thick accent. But the list has other bright moments, selecting other ladies from sitcoms like Tina Fey (30 Rock), Zooey Deschanel (New Girl), Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory), Alyson Hannigan (How I Met Your Mother), Melissa McCarthy (Mike & Molly), and Courtney Cox (Cougar Town).

I am surprised Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig didn’t made this list. But then again it’s a bit misleading as many on it didn’t make their money solely through acting. While others push the boundaries of what we’d typically classify as acting all together.
