A few weeks ago George Carlin’s widow Sally Wade released a memoir, The George Carlin Letters: The Permanent Courtship of Sally Wade. It’s a collection of Wade’s and Carlin’s life together with personal letters and drawings given to her by the late comedian.

It shows a side of the comedy legend that not many saw. Just this morning I learned the CC Insider posted a picture/letter from Carlin that didn’t make it into the book. Wow! Judging by the gesture in this letter alone, if this is something that didn’t make the book I can only imagine what actually did.
