FOX seems to really be in the Jonah Hill business. Before they even premiered his new animated sitcom Allen Gregory they just inked a deal with Hill to be the co-creator/co-writer of a sitcom. And the other co-writer/star of said sitcom? The incredibly talented comedian Hannibal Buress.
“From the first time I saw Hannibal perform, I started banging down the door to be the person to help guide his unique voice and material to television,” Hill said. “I feel lucky he chose me and my bosses at Fox.”
Besides a few cameos on 30 Rock, which Buress currently writes for, this be the first starring role for the comedian. Buress stated, “My initial dream was to write a show for Fox News, but Jonah convinced me we’d have a slightly better shot at normal Fox.”
