We’re going to see more Jeffrey Ross on Comedy Central very soon as the network just greenlit a new series staring the Roastmaster General. The show, called The Burn will focus on what Ross does best, make some skewering jokes about people and topics. It will focus on Ross talking about hot topics and current events with other comics.

Ross thanked the network in a statement, then said, “My mission is clear. To rip the world a new a–hole one crack at a time. I can’t wait to get started.” The Burn is scheduled to premiere this summer.

In addition to Ross’ new show the network also announced two other half-hour comedies for 2013: Review with Forrest MacNeil staring Andrew Daly (Eastbound & Down) and Nathan for You staring Nathan Fielder.
