With Owen Wilson’s The Internship fresh in theaters, the popular actor has signed on to co-star along side comedic legend, Jim Carrey in an action comedy. The forthcoming comedy made its rounds through Hollywood under the title Loomis Fargo, however the flick is said to be currently untitled. Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn will produce the new film under the Michaels-Goldwyn banner. The comedy set to be directed by Jared Hess, director of Napoleon Dynamite.
Deadline Hollywood reports the flick will tell a “fact-based story of a disgruntled armored car driver who is persuaded to risk it all for love, money, and extravagance. He and his cohorts liberate $20 million from a bank vault. They promptly double cross him, and as the driver’s left alone on the run in Mexico while they live the high life, he becomes obsessed with getting even.”
