Apparently Katt Williams pulled a Dave Chappelle and disappeared from the stage and maybe entertainment in general. We’re not really sure as to why, maybe the guy just needed a break and wanted to hang out and enjoy some of his successes? Maybe he’s shooting a movie? Perhaps he’s launching a fashion line? One thing we know about Katt is that all of the above could be true.

He just released a new DVD called

which gives us all a behind-the-scenes look into the life of Katt. It’s more documentary about his life than a stand-up special. Maybe it offers clues as to why Katt has taken some time off? (cue the dramatic DUN DUN DUUUUHHHH!! music)

Fans are taking Katt’s departure pretty seriously. A Facebook page was created about the subject, allowing fans to share their theories. The page was set up less than a month ago and if gaining more followers each day.

In late 2008, Katt Williams, one of the hottest and freshest comics disappeared from the comedy scene after a meteoric rise in fame leaving fans wanting more. Time for conspiracy theorists to speculate. Who knows maybe someone will draft a Katt Williams manifesto that spreads across the web similar to Dave Chappelle theory?
