  • Kevin Hart, Ricky Gervais, Jim Gaffigan and Aziz Ansari to headline New York Comedy Festival

The New York Comedy Festival is easily one of the most exciting comedy fests in the nation. It draws A-list talent and what better place to see a show than in the big city, Amiright?

This year’s lineup is stacked with great comedians (more than 150) including Aziz Ansari, Ricky Gervais, Jim Gaffigan, and Kevin Hart are amongst those that will have shows during the week of Nov. 7th – 1th.

There’s no one central place for the festival as shows will be scattered across the city including Kevin Hart playing Madison Square Garden and Asari and Gaffigan heading uptown to the Apollo Theater.

There will be some sit down interviews with comedians, Gervais is set to have a conversation with John Hodgeman at Town Hall while Robin Williams and David Steinberg will hold court at the 92nd St. Y.

Adam Carolla, Rob Delaney, Artie Lange, Patton Oswalt, Brian Regan, and the Wayans Brothers are also set to appear at various locations throughout the city totaling more than 50 shows in 5 days.

The current schedule is listed on the fest’s website. Right now, there’s only one “Next Big Thing” showcase listed and nothing for the smaller rooms around the city as with previous festivals. So unless they’ve done away with some of the smaller shows, expect to have more names get added as the weeks progress.

UPDATE: From August 9th – 12th there’s an exclusive Facebook pre-sale that you can take advantage of before the general public.
