Kyle Kinane will have a new stand-up special on November 24th
How psyched are we that Kyle Kinane will have a new special before the year ends? So excited that we’re taking a vow to not shave until November 24th beginning now! Kyle’s new stand-up special Whiskey Icarus will premiere on the Saturday before Thanksgiving on Comedy Central. Just in time for us all to eat too much food and pass out on our parent’s couch. Something tells me Kyle would want things this way.
If you aren’t familiar with Kinane’s work, the description of the special states, “Kinane shares tales of an airline passenger who travels with pancakes in a bag, a wallet-emptying drunken cab ride to Wendy?s and the day he spent laughing at headstones. Kinane’s introspective exploration dissects the limits of personal tolerance, wisdom gained versus knowledge learned, and a defense of spiritual fence-sitting. Oh, and pizza and hot dogs, of course.”
I’d sum it up a bit easier by instructing people to think of your fun uncle, fresh off a 3-day whiskey bender who happens to be dropping by a young cousin’s birthday party in the middle of the afternoon. Lightning in a bottle.
Kinane is also the guy that does all the voiceover work for the commercials on Comedy Central. Yeah, that guy. Set the DVRS for 11pm on 11/24 and learn what you’ve been missing.
