Iconinc comedy club, The Laugh Factory is getting into the app business. The Laugh Factory LIVE is is the first live comedy application of it’s kind and it will premiere exclusively on Playstation 3 on September 1st.

Through the app, you’ll be able to watch hours of live comedy footage the club has stockpiled during it’s 30 years in the comedy game. In addition, users will be able to stream live comedy sets as they’re happening on stage and in your house.

With the launch on September 1st all PS3 owners/users will be able to access the content completely free until December. Thereafter, the app will cost the super-cheap price of $3 per month, cheaper than any daily vice you and yours may have.

This is a huge move in the comedy game and with a comedy club like The Laugh Factory jumping on board, it’s a huge win for them moving forward as the club’s had literally every comedian you can think of gracing its stage at some point or another. What Is still unclear is how far back into the vaults they will go.
