Margaret Cho is truly a modern day Renaissance woman. She is not only a successful stand up comedienne, but also a prolific writer, activist, and even burlesque performer. Now Ms. Cho is adding another title to her already ample resume, musician. Cho is getting ready for the release of her debut musical comedy album Cho Dependent. Comedians attempting music is the kind of thing that can really come back to bite you if you don’t do it properly (Eddie Murphy) but from looking at the names she is working with this could be a really solid CD both in the comedy and music section. Look out for names like Tegan and Sara, Fiona Apple, Ben Lee, and Ani DiFranco to make appearances on the album which comes out August 24th.
