  • Meet Max Rice, the young comedian who pranked Fox News

Earlier this week, young comedian (20) Max Rice appeared on the Fox News channel earlier this week and basically punked morning show anchor Gretchen Carlson on Fox & Friends. Rice responded to a friend’s text earlier in the month stating the show was looking for Obama voters that have were now supporting Romney. Rice, who was not of legal voting age at the last election took the opportunity to strike. Since the ordeal happened Rice has been a bit elusive until this new interview which just hit the web.

In the interview Max discusses pretty normal things like when he began doing stand-up (15), who he admires as a comic (Bill Hicks), to things like what the fallout from the appearance brought. He also stated some pretty inflammatory remarks as to how Fox never vetted him to find out who he was and performed little, if any due diligence before putting him on live television.

Fox had a week to learn that I wasn’t 23 years old, wasn’t a Romney supporter, wasn’t a college graduate. They could have Googled my name, they could have seen my stand-up, they could have seen my presidential speech. They didn’t connect the dots that I graduated high school in 2010. And these people are getting paid millions of dollars to be journalists? They’re not journalists. [Web2Carz]
