Move over, Impractical Jokers: Lindsay Lohan is hosting new prank game show, “The Anti-Social Network”

March 23, 2017      Sam      News, Television, Video       Comments

Comedians / prank-based game show hosts / longtime best friends the Impractical Jokers have gone from relatively unknown truTV hosts to household names over six seasons. On the one hand, it’s great that they’ve made careers for themselves doing what they love most – on the other hand, their massive popularity has paved the way for copycat shows, like Lindsay Lohan’s latest project, The Anti-Social Network.

According to Vogue, “[t]he gist of the show seems to be that Lohan will take over an unsuspecting subject’s social media accounts while they rush to complete a series of challenges for various prizes.”

Lohan announced The Anti-Social Network with a Twitter video (that, of course, starts with a snarky “I’m back, bitches!”):

Well, she’s sort of back – apparently, The Anti-Social Network is still just a pet project for Lohan, but she’s shopping it to networks and hopes to have it on air soon.

Ahem, Comedy Central? truTV? Anyone?

Lohan — who is 30 years old now, by the way — was pretty game back in 2007 when she was targeted on Ashton Kutcher’s Punk’d (below). Pair her good humor with her Mean Girl streak and maybe she really could be the next best thing to happen to prank shows (who’d have thought!)
