Obama Calls Out Aziz Ansari Over Twitter Followers, Daughter Is Parks And Rec Fan
First it was Kanye West, then it was Jay-Z, then it was Jay-Z and Kanye together. Just when you thought Aziz Ansari couldn’t get much higher on the social ladder with his famous friends he goes and gets himself a name check from The President!
At a fundraiser at ABC Kitchen in NY Barack Obama gave a speech and called out Ansari along with The Roots mentioning that his daughter Malia was a Parks And Recreation fan and noted that he still has more Twitter followers than Aziz.
“Aziz Ansari…now this is big because Malia is a big ‘Parks and Recreation’ fan,” the President said at a fundraiser Thursday night at ABC Kitchen in New York City. “So having Aziz here is like the only thing she thinks is worth me doing. I want to thank him for what he said earlier. I know he’s backstage, but I just want to say that I have more Twitter followers than you, man.”
