Lately it seems Katt Williams makes headlines when he does something weird and WTF from on stage meltdowns, missed appearances, and general disappearances from comedy the last 3 years.

His latest escapade involved actor Faizon Love (Friday, Couple’s Retreat, Elf). Love and Williams apparently got into a heated argument outside of a Hollywood club over money. The story goes that Williams owed Love $50,000 and and when the argument escalated Williams pulled an uloaded gun on Love.

Love later stated, “I am just extremely upset that his punk ass would pull a gun out on me and even play with me like that.” Soon after the incident, Williams was arrested for a possible gun violation stemming from a 2006 gun charge at LAX. He was released later the same day.

Williams addressed his early gun charges years ago on with Howard Stern stating he often felt the need to feel safe because of his success. Regardless of that, the best recommendation that can probably be made in this situation is to get yourself some real good bodyguards. Because had the gun been loaded, this story could’ve had a really different outcome.
