Todd Glass, whose probably best known for rapid-fire tirades with a bursting red face, has some good friends.
A few months back Glass suffered a heart attack on stage at the Largo at the Coronet in LA. He was there for a Sarah Silverman & Friends show. Glass was rushed to the hospital where he had surgery and he’s now recovering from the experience.
You know how the story goes…to help pay for some of Glass’ medical bills a bunch of his comedic friends are coming together for a benefit contest. David Spade is organizing the David Spade & Friends Comedy Benefit Show which will feature Spade, Silverman, and Adam Carolla in addition to other names that haven’t been mentioned yet. Glass, who’s doing lots of rehab and staying off the road, will be in attendance to probably take a good amount of ribbing from his friends.
The benefit show happens on August 31st at The Largo. Visit their website for ticket info (they’re $40)
