Louis C.K. and Bill Hader ensure that SNL is happening this week (video)
Given how New York City got hit pretty hard by Hurricane Sandy, it would’ve been fair to assume that Saturday Night Live wouldn’t air this weekend. However, Bill Hader and this week’s host Louis C.K. (who postponed his NYC stand-up show because of the storm) are assuring everyone that SNL is going on as planned.
“We’re doing the show no matter what,” C.K. declares in a new promo video, as he and Hader experience hurricane conditions in the studio (though they weren’t too pleased about the water). The promos also feature C.K., Hader and Bobby Moynihan doing a few Halloween gags (oh yeah, it’s Halloween today… how could we forget?!). Watch the promos for this week’s episode above.
While our excitement to see C.K. on SNL grows, we now know who’ll be hosting the next two episodes. Returning for her third time, Anne Hathaway will host SNL on November 10 with musical guest Rihanna (no word on whether Shy Ronnie will also make an appearance). Meanwhile, Hawkeye himself Jeremy Renner will be hosting the November 17 episode with musical guest Maroon 5.
