Weird Al’s Alpocalypse Tour Special And DVD Out This October

“Weird Al” Yankovic’s Alpocalypse rolls on. The king of the polka and the parody song will make a return to TV on October 1st. Comedy Central will premiere the live recording of the tour Yankovic embarked on after the release of his most recent album Alpocalypse. During the tour, Al unleashed all his classics and many tracks from Alpocalpse like “Perform This Way,” “Polka Face,” and “CNR.”
After the special premieres, “Weird Al” Yankovic Live! – The Alpocalypse Tour will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in North America via Comedy Central with nearly an hour’s worth of concert footage that will not air on the TV special plus over 30 minutes of bonus features – music videos for “Perform This Way” and “Polka Face,” three extra live concert performances, a bunch of Al’s personal YouTube videos and more.
For two days on September 25th, Comedy Central will premiere the new video for “Polka Face” on their website. The track features a medley of songs by Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Britney Spears, P!nk, Lady Antebellum, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga. The video will only be available on ComedyCentral.com for 2 days so, set the reminder.
