  • New York comedian Liz Miele takes a leap with new animated web series, “Damaged”

Animation continues to make an influence in stand-up as the New York comic Liz Miele has created a new animated web series called Damaged. Liz has been around the comedy scene for a while as she was profiled in the New Yorker and was also featured on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham.

The web series is about broken teenage robots who are adopted by none other than… humans! The action comes to life from funny voice over actors including Dean Edwards, Ted Alexandro, Jermaine Fowler, DC Benny, RG Daniels plus many more talented comedians and actors.

Liz recently took to Kickstarter to help fund the project and raised the needed funds in 5 short days! So now it’s up to Liz and co to stick to the plan to finish writing and animating the series so a new episode can be released monthly. It will be interesting to see how the series develops. With the stellar lineup of comedians willing to assist with her project, Damaged could be a funny new web series. You can keep track of the series progress by visiting www.damagedwebseries.com.
