Or as the podcast tagline puts it, “where people tell true stories they never thought they’d dare to share in public.” RISK! has since been downloaded tens of millions of times over the course of the last 7 years and allowed a creative outlet where Allison to connects with audiences all over the world.
Allison turned the show into a live monthly event in New York and Los Angeles. Then it became a touring event, bringing it on the road to legions of fans all over this great nation. While the podcast has featured some incredibly true stories from comedians like Janeane Garofalo, Lisa Lampanelli, Kevin Nealon, Margaret Cho, Marc Maron, Sarah Silverman, Kevin Nealon, Dan Savage, Margaret Cho, Andy Dick, and Michael Ian Black. The other aspect of the show that has allowed it to connect with the average person is that Allison has allowed for regular folks from around the world to tell their stories alongside comedians.
