  • Reggie Watts gets philosophical about F*cking in new JASH video (NSFW)

Reggie WattsHave you ever been in mid-copulation and wondered, “Am I having sex?”

Sometimes sex can be difficult to decipher. It happens all the time. You’re cutting some onions or mowing your lawn and you might think you’re f*cking! But you’re probably not.

Luckily comedian/musician Reggie Watts answers all your intercourse questions in “If You’re F*cking, You’re F*cking,” a very NSFW music video for Youtube comedy channel JASH. The video starts with a cold open set in 1988 Montana of a couple having sex in a car. It then turns into a crazy dance video full of back up dancers and Reggie doing investigative research as to if people are f*cking or not. The end finds Reggie playing sex advice guy as he answers questions about the act of having sex in a question/answer montage of confused individuals.

Here are just a few assurances that you are indeed having sex:

“If certain articles of clothing are on the floor”

“If there’s a pillow wedged between your heads”

“If you’re upside down in the bed.” Read the rest of this entry

    IFC Crossroads House

SXSW 2013 let’s do this! After getting up the first thing in the morning on a Saturday to catch our flight to the promised land of comedy, honey, and BBQ we were able to begin our comedy journey. Before even departing the Austin airport we caught a glimpse of W. Kamau Bell and one of the shows writers Janine Brito getting stopped in the airport for a picture taking session. After literally a 45minute cab ride with a cabbie who tried to tell me every lawyer joke he’s ever heard (note: I did not tell him I wrote for a comedy website, it was unprompted) we made it downtown. 21 Comedians in Commercials

When word broke earlier this week that Maria Bamford’s Christmas Champ was not going to be resurrected for Target ads this year, I have to admit… I was a little bummed. Not because I like advertisements, rather I dug Bamford’s completely off the wall weirdness and buffoonery toward the commercials. They were a welcome change to all the mushy holiday cheer that we’ll be subject to for about a month.

With that being said, with the magic of the internet and the power of Youtube we have the chance to dig up those commercials some comedians hoped would never surface again, others made instantly classic, and those that are somewhere in between.

Here’s a list of 21 commercials that were made better with the presence of comedians. Read the rest of this entry

SF Sketchfest will return for it’s 12th year in 2013

The San Francisco Sketch Comedy Festival, just announced the dates for their 2013 and 12th year of the festival. The event is a who’s who event that mixes major comedy stars and the best up-and-coming comedians from around the world for three weeks of sketch, improv, stand-up, alternative comedy, films, tributes and panel discussions from the Bay Area. The Sketchfest will go down on January 24th through February 10th in 2013.

As you may remember, last year’s Sketchfest boasted such greatness like a reunion of the cast of Wet Hot American Summer and a Reggie Watts Reggidency in addition to it’s comedy lineup boasting pretty much any great name in comedy you can think of. Bottom line in this story, prepare to get some tickets.
