  • Would you attend a “Community” fan convention? CommuniCon to hit LA in February

This is something that could really take off with the diehard Community fans out there. Oh and we know they are legion. LA City College, the place where many of the exteriors shots for the show were taken, will play host to CommuniCon! A weekend gathering for fans of the TV show (which returns to TV February 7th) to rally and, ya know, be fans of Greendale Community College and all those that make it sparkle.

Attendees will be able to participate in Community-themed activities including “Journey to the Center of Harkthorne” video game demos, costume contests, panels, and trivia contests. Oh yeah, and they’re going to hand Dan Harmon, the show’s creator and recently ousted showrunner a microphone.

CommuniCon is happening February 9-10th at LACC. Right now they’re waitlisting tickets and handling all bookings via email communicon1@gmail.com with the Subject “CommuniCon Tickets” in it. There’s a limit 4 and will cost you $25 each for the weekend. Hit them up.
