Sebastian Maniscalco has had it up to here with the Facebook baby announcements, and the Facebook wedding dances and the Facebook fundraisers. Enjoy his appearance on Conan.
Still sporting his Chicago accent despite leaving the Windy City in the early 2000’s to follow his dream in Los Angeles, Maniscalco began paying his comedy dues by night playing his brand of comedy in bars and bowling alleys while working as a waiter at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. He eventually broke into the national spotlight with a 20-city tour in support of his one-hour Comedy Central DVD Special. Yet, it wasn’t until Sebastian captured the attention of award-winning actor and entertainer Vince Vaughn who selected him to be one of four featured comedians in the critically acclaimed film Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show that his comedy career began to explode.
Now, a 2014 American Comedy Award nominee for Best Club Comedian, Sebastian Maniscalco is quickly becoming one of the most sought after funny men in the business today. A frequent guest on networks such as Showtime and Comedy Network, the “half-Sicilian, half-Italian” was recently seen in an episode of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld.
Maniscalco is currently busy producing the wildly popular The Pete and Sebastian Show podcast and touring North America.
Known for posing questions like What’s Wrong With People? and, Aren’t You Embarrassed?, in his popular Showtime specials which spawned appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers and Conan, now an even more suspicious Maniscalco will dropped his new hour of skepticism on Showtime in early October called Why Would You Do That?
Additionally, Sebastian will make several major motion picture appearances in the coming year including a voice-over role in the animated feature Nut Job 2, premiering in 2017, a New Line Feature comedy The House starring Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler (directed by Andrew Cohen), and in the independent drama Cruise directed by Rob Siegel and produced by Jeremy Renner.
