Schooled, a new show from writer and creator Erica Oyama (Burning Love), has been picked up by Universal. Saturday Night Live alum Amy Poehler will be in the producer chair. The show will focus on a high-school teacher and her struggle for the respect of her peers and students. Universal is also the home for the Poehler-Tina Fey comedy Sisters due out this holiday season. And if you haven’t seen Burning Love, it’s a must. Amy Poehler currently stars in the rejuvenated movie turned television series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, now on Netflix.
