If you are a big fan of the team up of Saturday Night Live alums/sitcom stars hosting reality competition shows, you are in luck with the new Peacock series Baking It. The show features Andy Samberg and Maya Rudolph hosting 8 teams of bakers to compete for the best cakes and cookies and stuff. If this show visually looks familiar to you, its because NBC already has a hit show similar to this called, Making It hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman where crafting contestants compete for cash and prizes. In fact, if you look around at the set it looks surprisingly similar, perhaps even the same. Which makes sense since Poehler is an executive producer on the show.
Anyway, watch the trailer for some wholesome family competition hosted by some funny people and set the calendar for the Baking It premiere on Peacock December 2nd.
Fun fact, if you look at a Samberg appearance on The Tonight Show at the end of the summer, his interview was conducted on the set of Baking It Maya and Amy crashed the interview.
