One of the most wonderfully inside-baseball segments on Late Night with Seth Meyers, last night Second Chance Theater saw the return of Andy Samberg to try out a sketch that never made it onto air at Saturday Night Live.
This time, we get Griff Banks the Sensitive Bully. Basically, the character is exactly what the name suggests (as Andy Samberg would often do when naming characters). Griff Banks is the kid in school who would start off by being tough, but when challenged, immediately retreats.
Also appearing in this sketch is SNL alumni John Mulaney and SNL champion Kenan Thompson. During the sketch, it is broken down in a panel by Meyers, Samberg, Mulaney, Thompson, and writers Colin Jost and Rob Klein.
