A lot has been revealed about the recovery of Tracy Morgan and the crew of comedians that were seriously injured in the June 7th limo bus accident that left one comedian dead and put 3 in the ICU. While were were kept fairly updated on the recovery of Morgan and his assistant Jeff Millea, details about the beloved Ardie Fuqua have been sparse at best.
Earlier today comedian Wil Sylvince, a friend of Fuqua, revealed via Facebook that Fuqua’s was out of the ICU and his health was improving:
“To all who’s concerned about Ardie Fuqua, he’s doing a lot better but still have a long way to fully recover. He’s finally in a rehabilitation hospital and out of intensive care. He’s breathing on is own, talking, joking, and smiling. Thank you so far all your prayers, thoughts and everything else. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.”
A kickstarter page is still up and running to raise money for Ardie and his bills. If you are in the position where you can donate, you should do so.
[Update] Ardie’s family will be part of a prayer vigil for Fuqua tonight, July 7th between 6-7pm ET. Details here.
