Comedian Craig Gass was a guest on The Howard Stern Show this morning and brought news about Stern’s longtime sidekick Artie Lang. Lange, the Beer League star performed a set of comedy at the Comedy Cellar in New York City over weekend, marking his first official public outing in NYC show since his suicide attempt in January.
There’s still not much news as to weather Lange will return to the Stern show in the sidekick role. Stern has mentioned on his show that Lange did want to come on as a guest to at least clear the air and let listeners know about what happened to him since there are still a lot of questions as to what exactly happened. A story that Stern himself doesn’t seem to know all the answers for.
Stern’s contract with SiriusXM is set to end in December 2010 and as of right now he’s made no announcements as to whether he will re-sign with the company. Many fans hope to see Lange rejoin the show but it seems more likely there will be no replacement for him especially if Stern does not re-sign to the satellite radio company.
